about

Loud Quitting is a song that combines the raw and controlled power of early The Strokes with the melodic jangle guitars and upbeat bass of The Smiths. It's a fusion of styles and moods that charts new directions for this once "just amazing" jangle-pop act. “Loud Quitting” serves as a political song about existential crisis, denial and the disillusionment of the millennial generation towards the pillar of old-days society and thoughts of our fathers.

lyrics

Mistakes were made
And then bombs were blown
We waited quiet
The seeds were sown

I’m glad you’re learning
I’ll let you on it
I’ll let you want it
Then raise the cloth

By reconnecting the strings of old
The ones you used many times before
We pledge alliance
You must be loaded
I’m really craving this plate of gold
Unless you want it, then I don’t need it no more

Slack off
We’re not
machine pieces
Slack off
Rip off
Take all
Constant recess
Trademark:
Waste time
Non-productive
Quitter
Cry loud
Laugh louder
Eyes crossed
Bewildered

Back off
Back rows
Where we belong
Do not
As you’re told
Dropout
Non-believer
Breakout
Burn-out
Break all
Into pieces
Lights out
Lights out
Lights out
We’re leaving

We Were Never Being Boring Collective Italy

We want music to never turn into something boring for us. It would mean that we have become boring. Because music does not die with mp3′s or copyright: boredom is what brings it down, when it becomes a habit. All we need is a small do-it-yourself collective, as tiny as a simple smile. ... more
