"Lay Down" is the first single of Painted Vein's debut album which was written by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Andrea Volpato. The track was written during the pandemic and serves as a nostalgic chill pill for the mind and a comfort to the soul.

The lyrics are a poetic display of the inner workings of Andrea's mind and his desire to be open with the world while connecting with people that are struggling on our planet.
